February 20, 2023: UPDATED ACM VACCINE POLICY
Given the evolving landscape of the COVID-19 pandemic, ACM will no longer be requiring COVID-19 vaccinations/boosters for programs beginning after May 1, 2023. We strongly recommend students to be fully vaccinated and booseted (if eligible) prior to the start of their program. As in any other circumstance, ACM-IAU adheres to government mandates in the host countries and should the local governments reinstate COVID-19 related restrictions (including vaccination mandates), IAU's students will also be expected to comply with these policies. Being fully vaccinated and boosted (if eligible) will not only reduce the risk of COVID-19, but it will also reduce the impact of any COVID-19 restrictions on student mobility while abroad. As such, should circumstances require it, we reserve the right to reinstate a COVID-19 vaccine mandate and COVID-19 restrictions at any time. We will be sure to communicate any major policy changes as quickly as possible.
